jMyles began a project with Read the Docs. Chelsea finished up an embroidered birthday gift for her mom. But - while she & Notch walked to mail it, they parked the bike trailer outside a cafe on Gladstone and it went missing!
Kieran & Gabby came over to continue the projects. Gabby re painted the front bus marquee!
A weekend of bus projects commenced! While Peter brewed some kölsch, jMyles & Kieran fixed the solar panel array with solder & zip ties, put two cameras up (one in the rear of the bus & one in the kitchen looking outside), wired the back half of the bus with ethernet, 12v & 5v. Chelsea organized and vaccuumed some.
Peter began the PVC frame build for the solar panel array. He also built a pull out drawer in the kitchen pantry. Myles worked on our ability to load short videos to the website, in between perfecting his Crypt of the Necrodancer finger moves. Chelsea & Notch went to the Woodstock playgrounds!
Chelsea: "I'm getting nervous." Notch: "I'm getting nervous too."
Dentist, tooth extraction for Notch.
We are, again, pleased with the Georgia State Park system. High Falls State Park is a beautiful & well maintained campground. We initially pulled into a site after the sun had set without knowing the layout of the land. The next morning, after Justin & Fibonacci took a bike ride to the park office and back, Fibonacci took a solo ride to find a playground that they had passed on their earlier journey. So, we moved the bus to a loop with the playground as well as other families with children. Nacci has enjoyed the slide now that he's figured out how to descend himself. Justin has worked a short gig, we've continued schooling ourselves on the JFK assassination and eaten yummy home-cooked meals. And continued watching the Star Trek Voyager series.
Arrived at Safe Haven RV Park. Our first overnight plug-in in over a month.
From one Walmart parking lot to another. Worked on our website for a while and caught up on emails.
Our friends Lele and Eliza moved on, toward the coast and the Everglades. Hopefully we'll see them again in the PNW.
Goodbye to Rainbow. After a lovely morning with our Aeropress, sipping coffee with the hippies, we moved on. We made a few stops - Best Buy for (yet another) computer, groceries, and Diesel. Then on to Osceloa with some Rainbow friends.
