We are, again, pleased with the Georgia State Park system. High Falls State Park is a beautiful & well maintained campground. We initially pulled into a site after the sun had set without knowing the layout of the land. The next morning, after Justin & Fibonacci took a bike ride to the park office and back, Fibonacci took a solo ride to find a playground that they had passed on their earlier journey. So, we moved the bus to a loop with the playground as well as other families with children. Nacci has enjoyed the slide now that he's figured out how to descend himself. Justin has worked a short gig, we've continued schooling ourselves on the JFK assassination and eaten yummy home-cooked meals. And continued watching the Star Trek Voyager series.
Arrived at Safe Haven RV Park. Our first overnight plug-in in over a month.
From one Walmart parking lot to another. Worked on our website for a while and caught up on emails.
Our friends Lele and Eliza moved on, toward the coast and the Everglades. Hopefully we'll see them again in the PNW.
Goodbye to Rainbow. After a lovely morning with our Aeropress, sipping coffee with the hippies, we moved on. We made a few stops - Best Buy for (yet another) computer, groceries, and Diesel. Then on to Osceloa with some Rainbow friends.
One of the most populous creatures was the mosquito. In fact there were something like a dozen species. Some came out during the day; some were typical dusk-and-dawn suckers, and some stayed out all night. All three of us donated a fair bit of blood.
